BET OF THE WEEK
I charge $25 per week -- discounts are available for multiple weeks (the price for the entire season, including the playoffs, is $65 from Week 17) -- for my best bet selection; this can be paid for with a credit card or bank (ATM) card through the online money system PayPal, or with a check/money order that is drawn on a US bank. Please note that you do not have to be a member to pay with PayPal. Also note that everyone gets the same selection, which is published at the bottom of the main page after the game. MY RECORD:
I do not usually have a best bet in the first two weeks of the season. For the 2005/06 season, including the playoffs, I made 19 best bet selections, of which 13 won; for the 2006/07 season there were 20 picks and 14 winners. If you had staked $2,750 to win $2,500 on each selection, you would have laid out a total of $55,000 over the course of the season and would have collected $73,500 for a profit of $18,500. Of course, if you chose to bet in larger amounts your profit would have risen accordingly.
